Job Summary:

As a Social Services Administrative Assistant, you’ll bring attentiveness, accuracy, and a friendly approach to every interaction. You’ll support participants, families, and your care team by managing administrative processes, scheduling, and communication — helping everything run smoothly so participants receive the best care possible.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working closely with others. You’ll be part of a collaborative, people-centered team where communication, precision, and teamwork come first.

Hourly Wage:

$18.00 / hr.

Schedule:

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Welcome participants and caregivers, assisting with check-in, check-out, and general inquiries

  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases for social services and center operations

  • Support the preparation, recording, and distribution of meeting minutes, including IDT meetings

  • Assist with care plan schedules and related documentation

  • Provide administrative support to Master Social Workers and social services team members

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other team projects

  • Build trust and rapport with participants, families, and team members through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication

  • Ensure follow-up and task completion is timely, accurate, and collaborative

  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire — we’ll provide the training!)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in social work or equivalent is preferred.

  • 1 to 3 years of administrative support experience.

  • Capable of and experienced in assisting individuals with special mobility needs.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of learning EMR systems.

Requirements:

  • Requires valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening

Physical Requirements:

  • Works in well-lighted/ventilated office and therapy areas.

  • Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.

  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.

  • Must be able to assist with the evacuation of Participants.
